Ryan Walker is currently a high school English teacher at Cass City Jr./Sr. High School.  He has taught in the Cass City Public School district for 24 years.

For the past ten years, he has taught a post-secondary preparation course for seniors. He earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education and his master’s degree in classroom teaching from Saginaw Valley State University.

In addition to teaching, Ryan is also a freelance outdoor writer who has been published in numerous publications, including Woods-N-Water News, The Lakeshore Guardian, Tuscola County Advertiser, The Cass City Chronicle, and Midwest Hunting and Fishing Magazine.

Ryan enjoys all things outdoors, and relishes his time cooking wild game dishes for family and friends.
