The Lakeshore Guardian <\/em>is the shoreline\u2019s \u201cGood News\u201d newspaper, dedicated to celebrating the unique local history of Michigan\u2019s Thumb Region and along Lake Huron\u2019s shore. Reading the sign boards and seeing the boat house were greatly enhanced since I had read the Janet Stein story in your publication. The surfboat’s men lifesaver’s station was a nice part of our day exploring. Thanks for the great stories.<\/p>\n Bev<\/strong><\/p>\n I love reading each new issue of The Lakeshore Guardian. It’s always full of intriguing history and photos, plus a variety of other interesting information. Keep them coming!<\/p>\n Kat<\/span><\/p>\n One of the main reasons I enjoy reading the Lakeshore Guardian is that they focus on the history and the people who have made and continue to make Huron County a great place to live. I like variety of subjects they cover. From shipwrecks, ships, lighthouses, local issues and events. They also use local individuals who volunteer their time and talents to write the articles. I happen to be fortunate to be one of those writers who share some of my recipes and knowledge of cooking skill in a column called \u201cIn the Kitchen\u201d with Chef Dennis.
